Swisscom has launched a new triple-play bundle called 'Casa Trio', featuring high-speed Internet (up to 20 Mbps downstream), free telephone calls to the Swiss fixed-line network and its IPTV service 'Swisscom TV'.

The company claims that the new package will save subscribers  CHF 147 (US$ 145) per month, while its existing customers which already use all three products will also benefit as the cheaper package price will automatically apply to them from December 1st.

Swisscom had reached 186,000 IPTV subscribers by the end of the third quarter of this year, giving a year-on-year increase of nearly 96% from the 95,000 customers it reported for September 2008.
