Singaporean telco SingTel has selected French firm Witbe to deliver a Quality of Experience (QoE) monitoring solution for its triple-play service 'mio', comprising broadband, VoIP and IPTV offerings.
The QoE solution consists of robots which replicate subscriber actions, and are to be installed in key data centres around the island of Singapore, as well as in selected subscriber homes. The solution is expected to enable SingTel to monitor, assess and control the quality of its services from end-to-end.
SingTel celebrated passing the 100,000 customer milestone for its IPTV service 'mio TV' last June, reaching the total within just under two years.
