Deutsche Telekom is set to offer the complete Lord of the Rings trilogy in high-definition on the VOD library of its IPTV service 'T-Home Entertain'.
The three instalments will be available from March 6th via the video-on-demand service Videoload. Deutsche Telekom started offering on-demand titles in high-definition to all customers of its IPTV service 'T-Home Entertain' from last November, whether they be connected via ADSL2+ or VDSL, having previously only offered HD titles to customers connected via VDSL.
The telco had reached 885,000 customers for its IPTV service by the end of the third quarter of last year, but only if counting orders placed for the service and not functioning installations, which stood at 678,000 at the end of the period.
