Israeli firm Celeno Communications, a provider of semiconductors for multimedia WiFi home networking applications, has announced multiple deployments in the US of Celeno-enabled video bridges for whole-home wireless distribution of HD IPTV services.
Among those US telcos which have recently deployed Celeno-enabled solutions are: BTC Broadband (Oklahoma), DTC Communications (Tennessee), Duo County Telephone (Kentucky), Etex Telephone Cooperative (Texas), Farmers Telephone Cooperative (South Carolina), Horizon Chillicothe Telephone (Ohio), Liberty Communications (Iowa), Surry Telephone Membership Corporation (North Carolina), and Star Telephone Membership Corporation (North Carolina).
The Celeno-powered devices support a number of "Zero Touch Installation" features, including a push button for secured, easy pairing of the access point with client devices, and a simple multi-colour LED indicator to verify the HD capacity and robustness of the WiFi connections.
