WItbe opens Hong Kong office

French firm Witbe has created a new Asia Pacific-based subsidiary called Witbe Limited, with offices in Hong Kong, as part of its efforts to expand operations in the APAC market and support its clients based there, specifically telco customers of its quad-play monitoring solutions.

"The recognition of our software solutions in Asia Pacific is a strategic step and a great opportunity in terms of innovation and perspectives," said Jean Michel Planche, President and Founder of Witbe.   "We are in the middle of a large transformation for telcos who have gone from being telephone operators to multi-platform, convergent service providers.  The next step, already taken by some, is to become an 'experience & emotion provider' where the fundamental values of quality and confidence will be key."

Witbe reports that its monitoring solutions are deployed in over 30 countries worldwide, with international sales rising by more than 30% so far in 2009.
