Croatia's T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) has added two new content packages to its IPTV service 'MAXtv', making them available to customers for free throughout September.

The new channel bouquets are 'Basic Extra Package', offering 12 new channels including films, children's programming, lifestyle, business and documentary programmes.  The existing Plus Package will from now on offer brand-new music program and adult channels.

The new 'Sports Package' brings 11 top-ranked sports channels, including the Croatian channels Arena 1 and Arena 2, giving subscribers exclusive coverage of Spanish and Italian football leagues, French and German football leagues and broadcasting of qualification matches of the European Football Championship 2012 and the World Cup 2014.  The package will also offer NBA basketball, tennis from Wimbledon, and other sports.

T-Hrvatski Telekom had reached 256,846 subscribers for its IPTV service 'MAXtv' by the end of the second quarter of this year, up 50.6% from June 2009.
