Israeli firm Orca Interactive is to launch a new module for its content discovery platform COMPASS at this year's IBC show, offering users an enriched experience and a new way of exploring content based on a variety of 'content tracks'.
By selecting their personal track, users can view the discovery experience through different lenses, based on personal preferences, social input, popular options, special offers, the latest information on their favourite actors, and more. The new module, called COMPASS TRAX, is intended to allow each user to spend more time exploring and learning about available content options while enabling operators to drive new revenues.
The new module is offered both on-premise and as a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering, and can be integrated with value chain partners to further enrich the user experience through rich metadata and Web-based information.
