Founder of DigiLinea to Launch IPTV Latino

August 15, 2006 –Gregory Keough, the CEO and Founder of DigiLinea (www.DigiLinea.com), a VoIP (Voice over IP) service and infrastructure provider to the US Hispanic and Latin American markets, has announced the coming launch of IPTV Latino, a new IPTV service allowing Latinos worldwide to have direct access to video content via any IP enabled device.

IPTV Latino will provide content from traditional and independent media companies serving the US Hispanic and Latin American markets with user generated content from throughout the region.

IPTV Latino will leverage Mr. Keough’s extensive network in the technology and media space throughout the US Hispanic and Latin American markets as well as the DigiLinea experience as a VoIP service and infrastructure provider to clients region-wide.

IPTV Latino’s initial content focus will be in the areas of sports, music, romance, and “the unusual” targeting the kind of content believed to be most of interest and appropriate for delivery over IP to the Latino community.  The format initially will focus on delivering content in short segments, as IPTV Latino believes at this time the average Latino user does not want to watch full feature length productions via IP.

“Our goal is to build the first and premiere IPTV content network for the Latino market combining content from both traditional and independent media companies as well as user produced content to allow viewers to see what they want when and wherever they want on any IP enabled device.”  Mr. Keough stated. “We feel there is a substantial opportunity for content producers region-wide to expand access to their content using the IPTV Latino channel, allowing them to generate greater revenues from their existing content.”

Mr. Keough added, “Much like VoIP, we feel IPTV presents a fundamental shift in the communications space for the US Hispanic and Latin American markets and provides a unique opportunity for those who truly understand these technologies and markets.  IPTV Latino will have the benefit of leveraging the DigiLinea experience in building the leading US Hispanic and Latin American VoIP service and infrastructure provider, which we believe will be a large asset.  This allows IPTV Latino out of the gate to leverage the existing DigiLinea distribution, technology, payment, and partner infrastructure as well as the deep understanding of the cultural and business nuances of operating in these markets which will provide IPTV Latino with a distinct competitive advantage in launching this new IPTV venture.”
