Eagle Broadband Signs Miami-Based ANEW Broadband as New IPTV Customer in Southern Florida Jul 21, 2006 - Eagle Broadband has announced the signing of ANEW Broadband as a new IPTV customer in the southern Florida region.
With it's headquartered based in Miami, ANEW Broadband is a facilities-based global telecommunications services provider. ANEW, a subsidiary of CIMA Telecom, Inc., operates an advanced TDM and IP network, supported by a 24/7 NOC, which provides the foundation for all ANEW services. Furthermore, ANEW manages a large network of direct routes and offers buy/sell opportunities for other carriers. Under the multi-year renewable contract, by 1st October, Eagle will have rolled out its IPTVComplete(TM) service to ANEW Broadband. The service includes direct access to more than 200 channels of high-demand programming from popular entertainment providers, using a mix of standard-definition and high-definition set-top boxes. Eagle's IPTVComplete will supply the television part of "ANEW Vision," a triple-play service offering specifically designed for multi-dwelling buildings, condominiums and communities in southern Florida. The triple-play package will bundle IPTV and full-service IP telephone services with unlimited domestic long distance and up to eight megabytes of high-speed broadband Internet services. Daniel Contreras, CEO of ANEW Broadband has stated; "Eagle Broadband's digital TV offering completed our unique multi-play offering 'ANEW Vision' which combines Eagle Broadband's 100 percent digital quality broadband television with a minimum of 105 channels, our high-speed internet, and music, and unlimited full-service telephone service plans,".
