BT IPTV Leader To Quit April 6th, 2006 -Andrew Burke, Chief Executive of BT Entertainment and responsible for overseeing the UK telecoms company's move into IPTV later this year will leave at the end of April.
His departure comes at an interesting time for the UK telco, who are planning to launch services in partnershipwith Microsoft TV in Autumn 2006.
BT said in a statement: "Andrew Burke is leaving BT by mutual consent to pursue other interests. He has made an enormous contribution to the development of BT Vision and has helped assemble a world class team that everyone is confident will deliver a successful launch in the autumn."
