BSkyB Prepare Broadband Services Including VOD Over Easynet's Network

22nd March, 2006 -BSkyB have laid out their plans to deliver services over Easynet's network including VOD and telephony in a presentation to analysts that steered clear of specific product details or financial projections.

Easynet's network can reach about 20 percent of UK households now, but a planned build-out will increase from 232 exchanges this year to 750 by the end of 2006 and 1,200 by 2007 -- equivalent to about 70 percent of homes.
