Harmonic opens international operations centre in Switzerland

November 20, 2008 - US firm Harmonic, a major provider of video solutions including IPTV headends, has opened a new international operations centre in Fribourg, Switzerland, which will manage all commercial aspects of its business outside the States.

"Harmonic continues to focus on growing our business across all markets and maximising efficiency of our operations," said Patrick Harshman, President and CEO of Harmonic.  "By setting up this operations center in Switzerland, we can better support our diverse and expanding international customer base and increase business efficiency."

The new facility is now fully operational and adds to sales and R&D centres in China, France, Hong King, Israel, the UK and the US.
