Orange releases channel details of new Orange cinéma séries package
October 10, 2008 - Orange has released more details of its new premium film and TV package 'Orange cinéma séries', which includes five channels of premium TV and film content as well exclusive video on demand content, delivered to its French customers via the TV, PC and mobile.
The service, being launched on November 13th, will offer the following channels: Orange cinemax, offering blockbusters exclusive to Orange and in high-definition; Orange Cinehappy, showing cinema for all the family; Orange cinechoc, offering action films; Orange cinenovo, delivering independent cinema; and Orange cinégéant, featuring cinema classics.
The service, which will cost €12 per month when delivered to the TV and PC and €6 when delivered to mobiles, is expected to offer subscribers over 1,200 films, 1,000 hours of TV series, 200 documentaries and 300 hours of children's series each year. Orange is also offering free access to Orange cinéma séries channels for all Orange TV customers until November 30th, and for all new subscribers joining before January 14th of next year, the package will be provided for free for three months.
Orange recently revealed that it has now passed 1.389mn French subscribers to its 'Orange TV' IPTV service.
