Telefónica O2 Czech Republic just shy of 100k IPTV subs in H1
July 25, 2008 - Telefónica O2 Czech Republic reached 98,000 subscribers for its "O2 TV" IPTV service by the end of the first half of this year, up from 87,173 at the end of March.
Revenues from broadband-based services (ADSL, IPTV and content) rose 13.9% in the first half of this year relative to the same period of last year to reach CZK2bn (US$133.5mn). Total revenues across all operations rose 1.1% by the same comparison to reach CZK31.2bn, while net income increased 18.6% to reach CZK5.8bn.
