Verimatrix and Motorola sign worldwide reseller agreement

July 11, 2008 - Verimatrix and Motorola have entered a worldwide reseller agreement whereby the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for IPTV has been integrated with Motorola's end-to-end IPTV solution.

“Our customers benefit from our agreement with Motorola as it provides them with a turnkey solution for a faster and more secure deployment environment– already approved by major studios and broadcasters,” said Steve Oetegenn, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Verimatrix. “Customers who require a flexible and proven solution to deliver IPTV services ahead of the competition are able to quickly and reliably deploy a solution to meet their needs.”

Motorola's VIP series of IP set-top boxes fully support the VCAS for IPTV solution, and the two companies are working together to integrate and certify new VIP set-top box models.
