T-HT clocks 56,355 IPTV subs

May 9, 2008 – Croatian telco T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) has announced that it reached 56,355 customers for its “MAXtv” IPTV service in the first quarter of this year, compared to 15,976 as of the end of March 2007.

MAXtv offers over 70 national and international TV channels as part of the basic package, with premium channels such as HBO costing extra, and also offers the MAXtv Plus package which extends the bouquet to offer nine additional lifestyle channels.  Subscribers additionally have access to over 1,200 national and international titles on-demand.

Revenue from Internet services as a whole increased by 33.9% year-on-year to reach HRK 211mn (€29mn).  T-HT also reported that at the end of the first quarter of this year it had 377,340 broadband subscribers, up 50% from the 251,386 reported for the same period of last year.
