May 7, 2008 – Swiss telco Swisscom has reported that it added 5,000 subscribers for its “Bluewin TV” IPTV service in the first quarter of this year, reaching a total of 64,000 paying customers.

Net income during the first three months of the year fell 7.2% by the same comparison to reach CHF 428mn, with the fall attributed largely to high financing costs associated with the takeover of Italian telco Fastweb.
