Deutsche Telekom launches summer promotion for T-Home Entertain

May 6, 2008 – Deutsche Telekom has announced a new promotion of its “T-Home Entertain” IPTV service for the months of May and June.

During these two months, new customers can acquire a package including the set-top box, router and splitter for a one-off fee of €49.99 instead of €99.99 (with monthly subscription charges also applicable, ranging from €49.95 to €69.95).  Customers can also purchase a new receiver for €129.99, giving access to the IPTV service in another room.

T-Home Entertain currently offers up to 150 broadcast channels, access to an online video library of over 2,600 titles, and a TV catch-up service.  The service is available to more than 17mn households across Germany in 750 towns and cities, and the company plans to expand it to 1,000 towns and cities by year-end, reaching around 20mn households.
