IP-PRIME strikes carriage deal with NFL NetworkApril 25, 2008 – IP-PRIME has announced that it has reached an agreement with NFL Network to bring the latter’s 24-hour suite of American football programming to telecom carriers using the IP-PRIME service.
The channel airs 24/7 on a year-round basis, providing viewers with nearly 2,000 hours of original programming (NFL Total Access, NFL GameDay, Point After, NFL Replay, Playbook, Red Zone, College Football Now, NFL Top 10, NFL Scoreboard), eight live prime time NFL regular season games as well as 52 pre-season games, college bowl games, NFL Scouting Combine and other cutting-edge, enhanced TV applications. “We’re very pleased to add the NFL Network to our ever-expanding line-up of outstanding sports programming,” said Bill Squadron, President of IP-PRIME. “The network is a ‘must have’ for our IP-PRIME operators and their football fan customers. With NFL Network on board, IP-PRIME now has more than 30 channels devoted to sports coverage, a key offering of our 300 channel line-up.” The transport agreement ensures that NFL Network will be available to all IP-PRIME operators throughout the US, although each operator will have to sign individual carriage deals with NFL Network. |
