Chunghwa Telecom selects AnaCise monitoring solution

April 17, 2008 – Taiwanese firm AnaCise Testnology has announced that it has been selected by local telco Chunghwa Telecom to provide a video monitoring solution for the telco’s Multimedia-on-Demand (MOD) service.

Chunghwa selected AnaCise’s WatchiTV Distributed System to monitor its video on demand, karaoke on demand and linear broadcast channels as the telco expands its service and footprint.  The system reportedly went through several months of live trials before being selected.  WatchiTV Distributed System provides real time MPEG/network management with monitoring, alarm and report functionalities.

Chunghwa Telecom currently a subscriber base for its MOD service of around 420,000.
