SFR selects Witbe monitoring for triple-play services

April 16, 2008 – SFR, a French subsidiary of Vodafone Group, has selected a monitoring solution from French firm Witbe for its triple-play service, following a market tender for a complete end-to-end quality management solution ranging from labs to support team.

The system selected involves a three-tier architecture with Witbe scouts, data storage/archiving and intelligent data displays.  Following successful delivery of a monitoring solution for IPTV, VoIP and Internet, SFR extended the Witbe solution to mobile services, and the project now covers mobile monitoring, TV and VoD, data, WiFi hotspots, residential and enterprise VoIP and convergent messaging.

SFR is Vodafone Group’s 44% owned French subsidiary and has 18.8mn subscribers in France.
