RealPage chooses BitBand solutions for delivery of IPTV service

April 15, 2008 – RealPage, a provider of services to the multifamily industry in the US, has selected BitBand as its affiliate vendor for implementing on-demand IPTV services to be delivered to the communities RealPage serves.

RealPage provides products and services to over 20,000 apartment communities across the US, and its StarFire service offers residents IPTV, broadband and voice services.  BitBand’s content distribution technology is reported as providing streaming capability for unicast content while simultaneously enabling disaster recovery and non-interrupted service provision.
