Optibase launches Creator Ingest Server

April 15, 2008 – Optibase has announced the launch of its new Creator Ingest Server at the NAB show in Las Vegas, providing a real-time SD/HD hardware-based ingest solution for post production, video on demand, playout and archiving applications in one platform.

The Creator Ingest Server was designed with the Optibase hardware-based encoding engine, and has a Quality Control module for validation of content during creation and viewing of high-resolution stored files in playback mode.

The solution is compatible with Non Linear Editing (NLE) systems and playout servers in order to fit smoothly into existing workflows, and supports multiplexing formats such as QuickTime, MXF, programme streams and transport streams.
