Verimatrix content security integrated into Comverse IPTV solution for STA

April 15, 2008 – Verimatrix has announced today at the NAB show in Las Vegas that it has integrated the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for IPTV into the Comverse IPTV solution, and Andorran telecoms company Andorran Telecommunications Service (STA) has become the first to deploy the combined Verimatrix-Comverse solution.

Comverse is a supplier of software and systems which enable network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services, and is an OEM partner for Verimatrix’s content security solutions and system integrator for the STA project.  STA is to start delivering live broadcast and on-demand IPTV over its new fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network.
