IneoQuest opens Central European Cable and IPTV Technology Centre in Germany
April 8, 2008 – IneoQuest has announced that it has launched its Central European Cable and IPTV Technology Centre in the Bavarian town of Rosenheim, Germany.
The centre is intended to assist and support network operators in the deployment and management of quality of service (QoS) solutions for digital cable and IPTV networks. It is designed to emulate an actual headend, functioning as a demonstration and technology training facility, as well as being capable of staging technical on-site trials where pilot technologies can be evaluated before being deployed.
“IneoQuest’s goal is to leverage our proven experience with over 400 unique customers worldwide to provide an advanced technology centre that will enable network operators to explore and improve their QoS strategy,” said Stuart Newton, General Manager of IneoQuest European Operations. “IneoQuest is helping global operators adapt to the digital video requirements of current and future next generation networks, and we are pleased to bring this capability to our customers in the central European region.”
