TEO selects Agama solution to monitor IPTV service

April 8, 2008 – Agama Technologies has announced that Lithuanian telco TEO has selected Agama’s end-to-end monitoring solution to track the quality of its IPTV service, with Ericsson acting as systems integrator.

The solution selected includes Agama Analyzer nodes for monitoring the IPTV service network from content ingestion to last mile and in-home monitoring, as well as Agama’s embedded set-top box probes.

“By providing unified quality metrics regardless of transmission form, Agama enables multi transmission operators like TEO to both increase their service quality and simplify their service assurance,” said Mikael Dahlgren, Managing Director of Agama Technologies.  “As operators develop their business into several TV transmission arenas, Agama’s solutions can easily be extended to provide support for their evolved business.”
