Telenor opts for Agama monitoring solution

April 2, 2008 – Telenor has selected Agama Technologies to deliver an end-to-end IPTV service monitoring solution, with the deployment planned to cover all of Scandinavia during a three-year period.

“We have been working successfully with Agama’s quality assurance service since 2006,” said Lars-Åke Norling, CTO of Telenor Sweden.  “The solution fits with our aggressive strategy on service quality and we have now decided to implement it on a broader basis.”

The Agama DTV Monitoring Solution monitors TV service quality through the delivery chain from headend to the subscriber’s set-top box, and uses multi-metric monitoring to assess both the transport and content layers.
