Bell Aliant selects Corinex home networking for Aliant TV service

March 31, 2008 – Corinex has announced that Canadian telco Bell Aliant has selected its AnyWire Connectivity product to deliver in-home networking of the telco’s IPTV service, called “Aliant TV”.

The AnyWire Connectivity solution uses indoor coaxial wiring already installed in subscriber homes for the transmission of video, enabling users to connect the DSL modem to multiple set-top boxes.

“Bell Aliant chose Corinex’s unique AV networking technology because of the ease and speed of installation,” said Andre LeBlanc, team lead of television services for Bell Aliant.  “We surveyed the market and found Corinex’s AnyWire Connectivity products to be the most cost effective and bulletproof solution for solving the in-home distribution problem, and our installers love them.”

Aliant TV was launched in 2005 and offers 240 channels, with prices starting at $29 per month for the first 12 months.
