Grafton Technologies selects new Nortel video solution
March 7, 2008 – Nortel has announced that Grafton Technologies, a US triple-play provider based in Illinois, has selected its new video solution, which is based on the Nortel Video Services Platform (VSP) 9500 and enables providers to offer integrated communications and entertainment capabilities.
In conjunction with the VSP 9500, Nortel is launching its first video application, the Communications Module 9520, which brings together a communications bundle converging wireline and wireless phones with desktop functionality such as instant messaging, caller ID notification, click-to-call, voicemail and address books through a TV interface.
The new video solution has been selected by Grafton Technologies to deploy over their existing voice and data network. Nortel will also supply project management, engineering, integration, installation, technical support and assisted operation.
