IneoQuest announces Cricket video network probe now supports European QAM standards

March 6, 2008 – US firm IneoQuest has announced that its Cricket video network probe now supports European QAM standards, enabling European operators to monitor and troubleshoot video quality.

The QAM Cricket can be used as a quality probe at the network edge, as well as inside customer premises to capture and troubleshoot intermittent, recurring problems.  The QAM Cricket is designed for multiple uses, including RF broadcast video deployments, advanced video service roll-outs and end-to-end network monitoring and troubleshooting.

“IneoQuest is pleased to offer a solution that is purpose-built to meet the needs of the European service provider,” said Stuart Newton, General Manager of IneoQuest European Operations.  “With the availability of the European standards QAM Cricket, we are demonstrating our commitment to creating solutions that address the unique challenges of being a video service provider in today’s competitive marketplace.”

The European standard-enabled QAM Cricket is available now, with price varying depending on system configuration.
