Akamai to deliver opening keynote of TV Over Net conference

March 5, 2008 – US firm Akamai has confirmed that its VP of Digital Media, Bill Wheaton, is to deliver the opening keynote presentation at the TV Over Net conference, hosted as part of this year’s IPTV World Forum being held in London next week.

Mr. Wheaton will be speaking on “From the first mile to the last ten feet”, covering the successful delivery of Internet television.  He will cover how content can be delivered to the TV, including linking the PC and TV, as well as content protection, how to meet consumer expectations, and Akamai’s approach to the delivery of Internet television.
