ANT joins Open IPTV Forum

February 21, 2008 – ANT Software, a UK developer of software solutions and services for delivering digital media content to consumer devices, has announced that it has become the latest member of the Open IPTV Forum.

The Open IPTV Forum is a pan-industry initiative with the aim of producing end-to-end specifications for IPTV in order to foster adoption of the technology as a mass market service.

“ANT has a proven track record in IPTV and we look forward to benefiting from their knowledge in this exciting and growing market,” said Helmut Schink, Steering Group Vice-Chair.

The founding members of the Open IPTV forum are Ericsson, FT Group, Nokia Siemens, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung, Sony and Telecom Italia.
