Dreampark to develop customised version of Dreamgallery middleware for Hoist Hospitality Group
February 14, 2008 – Swedish middleware firm Dreampark has signed an agreement with Hoist Hospitality Group, a supplier of advanced entertainment solutions to hotels, to develop a customised version of its Dreamgallery IPTV middleware that will enable Hoist’s customers to deliver high-definition video to guests.
Hoist will distribute and sell the system to its customers in Scandinavia and Russia, potentially placing it in more than 15,000 rooms. Hoist will integrate its Eyecom interactive TV system, a multimedia platform offering pay-per-view TV, video on demand and games, among other services. With the addition of Dreamgallery, Hoist’s hotel customers will also be able to deliver high-definition video over IP to guests as well.
“We sought an IPTV middleware solution that would not only allow our customers to deliver an HDTV experience to guests and thereby differentiate themselves from the competition, but would offer value added services beyond what a guest would experience at home,” said Love Möller, Product Manager of Eyecom for Hoist Hospitality Group. “We found the solution in Dreampark’s Dreamgallery IPTV middleware. The speed, user-friendliness and flexibility of the system perfectly complements our Eyecom offering, which is also highly scalable. This combination helps us make our services even more attractive to customers.”
The partnership with Hoist Hospitality represents Dreampark’s first customer win in the hospitality industry.
