Optibase IPTV solution selected by “major” US TV network

February 4, 2008 – Optibase has announced that a “major” US TV network has selected its IPTV solution for the latter’s in-house video delivery system.

The Optibase solution combines Optibase EZ TV portal and PC player with a telco-grade Media Gateway 5100 streaming platform.  The new solution replaces the previously-installed analogue cable-based system.

“The Optibase H.264 video delivery solution offers display of up to 16 live video channels simultaneously on user PCs and Macs, and in cases where large screen TVs are required, Optibase provided the EZ TV portal with an Amino set-top box control module.
