Korea Telecom places additional order with Net Insight

December 14, 2007 – Korea Telecom has placed a small add-on order for its multiservice media network with Net Insight.

The media network is based on Net Insight’s Nimbra platform, and the new equipment will be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year.  Net Insight reports that the order was received in cooperation with its partner Sanam Technology and its systems integrator Yukyung.

The network connects ten cities in Korea, and Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) will use the network for video and audio services between its headquarters in Seoul and local broadcasters across the country.  Korea Telecom placed an order worth over SEK 10mn (US$ 1.5mn) with Net Insight for a multiservice media network last September.
