Orange partners with MGM to expand VOD catalogue for TV and broadband subscribers

December 11, 2007 – Orange has signed a multi-year agreement with US studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to add the studio’s titles to its video on demand service in France, Spain, Poland and the UK as part of its “24/24 Video” package.

The agreement with MGM will allow customers with an “Orange TV” subscription or Internet package from Orange in France, Spain, Poland and soon the UK to access new and classic MGM feature films such as Casino Royale, Silence of the Lambs, Some Like It Hot and Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Prices start at €1 a film for 24 hours rental, with unlimited viewing, pause, fast forward and rewind, either in French or in the original language.  With this agreement MGM has become the fifth US studio to contribute films to the Orange VOD service.
