Polaris International Holdings to enter IPTV and WiMax markets
December 4, 2007 – Polaris International Holdings has announced that Polaris Technology has entered into a consulting agreement with Naoki Ido, a member of the company’s board of advisors, to establish a new subsidiary of Polaris Technology which will focus on designing, manufacturing and selling products for the markets of IPTV and WiMax.
The agreement between Polaris Technology and Mr. Ido stipulates that the new company will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Technology, and that Mr. Ido will become President of the as yet unnamed subsidiary.

Polaris International Holdings is a US firm based in Delaware with offices in California and Tokyo, and is a holding company of IT services and technology companies located in Japan. The company reportedly plans to expand from its current territory to other markets in Asia.
Mr. Ido has been President of Extreme Networks K.K. in Tokyo, and has also worked with Nippon Telegraph & Telephone to develop Japan’s first Metro-Ethernet broadband backbone.
