Volný expands coverage of IPTV service in Czech Republic

November 21, 2007 – Czech telco Volný has reportedly extended the coverage of its IPTV service “Volný TV” to over half of the 1mn fixed lines in the Czech Republic.

The operator is reported to have increased coverage of the service to the Prague districts of Bohnice and Kobylisy, as well as Brno, Ústi nad Labem, Hradec Králové and Plzen.  Volný also intends to increase coverage to other parts of the country in the forthcoming months.

The telco has also launched a promotional offer for new subscribers, offering six months of the service for free for new customers.
