Now you only need a single box at home to connect your TV, broadband, telephony, and much more.” The Telia Smart package includes an all-in-one gateway featuring a broadband modem, built-in wireless network, IP telephony adaptor and a firewall. “Customers want to a greater extent to control their own time and media consumption,” Mr Jonsson added. “They want to watch TV when it suits them. We are constantly striving to improve our TV selection with new channel packages and interactive services that meet our customers’ demands.” TeliaSonera posted sales of SEK 91bn in 2006 (US$ 13.57bn), and in March 2007 its total number of customers exceeded 100mn in 15 countries. |
