IPTV to dominate pay-TV growth
A new report from UK firm Digital TV Research predicts that global pay-TV revenues will increase by US$ 19bn over the next five years to reach US$ 203bn by 2018, with managed IPTV services to post the healthiest growth rate out of all accesss technologies at nearly 10%. -

100mn more IPTV households by 2018
There will be just shy of 1bn pay-TV households worldwide by 2018, with IPTV accounting for around 167mn of them, according to UK firm Digital TV Research. -

IPTV beating cable on growth
A major review of the world's biggest TV and broadband operators by SNL Kagan has found that telcos in the world's developed markets are outpacing their cable rivals in terms of TV growth, with IPTV services from AT&T, France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom registering the most additions.
