Vubiquity has signalled its intention to capture top players in the Latin America OTT market with the launch of a fully managed digital storefront product at Andina Link 2016.
The move is part of a long-term strategy to become the first choice in the OTT space worldwide.
“The telecoms market in Latin America is especially competitive and complex, and our storefront provides service providers with the edge they need over other OTT providers,” explains Hector Rodriguez, Vice President for Latin American at Vubiquity. “Consumers are time-poor, and they increasingly demand access to a large catalogue of latest release films and TV series whenever and wherever they are.”
In Latin America, Vubiquity already provides clients such as telecoms operators with a suite of content services, including content acquisition and licensing, scheduling, programming and processing as well as marketing support.
