TVT launches ContentSelect

TVT has launched its new media management platform ContentSelect, a ‘complete orchestration toolset’ that delivers transmission-ready content for linear TV and video on demand (VOD).

The cloud-based platform manages media operations, streamlines workflows and ensures content is edited, packaged and delivered on time, to the correct specifications and in the highest quality possible. Its dashboard gives customers a real-time update on the status of all assets in the workflow chain.

The platform has comprehensive modules for all elements of programme sales, channel and VOD preparation, including quality control, compliance viewing and editing, coordination with language vendors, metadata creation and association, promo production, stills capture, transcodes and deliveries.

“With the continued proliferation of content, and with more broadcasters and content owners trying to reach an ever wider audiences with increasingly localised content, being able to quickly and securely turn around content is key – and that means having efficient media operations and trusted partners that can deliver,” comments Ian Brotherston, CEO of TVT. “Our years of experience means we have been able to develop ContentSelect with the needs of broadcasters and content owners in mind.”
