UKTV’s on-demand service UKTV Play has launnched on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.

UKTV is home to the number one non-PSB channel Dave. The network launched UKTV Play last summer and Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick join YouView, Virgin TV and BT TV in offering the on demand service, which is also available on iOS, Android and PC.

“As UKTV Play passes its first birthday, this launch marks another exciting step in the growth of the service,” comments UKTV’s CEO Darren Childs. “UKTV continues to invest in its on demand services and in making brilliant, original programming, meaning our viewers can watch their favourite UKTV shows such as Dave Gorman Modern Life is Goodish and Taskmaster anytime, anywhere.”

Simon Brown (Executive Director of Strategy and Research, UKTV), will be speaking at next month’s OTTtv World Summit (9th – 12th November 2015 Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London). Click here to read his exclusive interview with IP&TV News.
