Freesat, the subscription free satellite TV service, will launch five new channels today, further expanding the platform’s free-to-air offering.

Besides YourTV, Fox International Channels’ first ever channel for the UK free-to-air market, the additions includes four new music channels – Chilled, Now Music TV, Clubland TV and Channel AKA – that will also be added to Freesat’s music line-up from today.

“We are excited to launch five new channels today which further strengthen Freesat’s music and entertainment offering,” comments Paul Gilshan, marketing and communications director at Freesat. “Free-to-air viewers in the UK have more choice than ever when it comes to TV. And best of all, it’s subscription free.”

Matthew Huntington (CTO, Freesat) will be appearing at this year’s OTTtv World Summit (9th – 12th November 2015 Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London). Click here to download the full, free brochure.
