Responding to the 42% increase of on-demand views for its Sky Movies service, UK broadcaster Sky has unveiled new features for Sky Movies customers on its Sky+ connected TV platform.

New features being introduced from today include a recommendation service, ‘More Like This,’ as well as the ability to create a personalised movies library with ‘Watchlist,’ which lets users compile their own film wish list.

There’s also a ‘Watch from Start’ option, and an upcoming capacity to access a movie’s Rotten Tomatoes Audience Scores.

“This is just the latest in a series of enhancements we’re rolling out every few months to make sure Sky+ continues to make TV watching a brilliant experience in homes up and down the country,” comments Luke Bradley-Jones, Director of TV Products. “The pace at which we’re developing for Sky+ has never been quicker – so customers can look forward to more updates later this year and into 2016.”
