Popcornflix app chalks up 15 million download milestone

Popcornflix announced today that Popcornflix reached 15 million downloads. The service had just passed the 10 million downloads mark in January 2015.

Popcornflix, the widely available independent, ad-supported movie and TV streaming app, is available on Roku, Sony PlayStation PS3 and PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, Android, as well as Smart TVs and in 61 different countries.

“We are ecstatic about our growth,” says David Fannon, Executive Vice President at Popcornflix. “This proves how much consumer demand there is for free quality content, and that the ad-supported model works.”
