Just 67% of Netflix users have pay-TV

Just 67% of Netflix subscribers still subscribe to a traditional pay-TV serive, whil 9% of these plan to cancel and another 16% are unsure if they will still have their pay-TV within the next year.

The figures come courtesy of new research conducted by Cut Cable Today, and suggest that Netflix users are increasingly finding traditional pay TV less attractive, opting instead to rely on Netflix’s expanding library of on-demand content.

Netflix satisfaction rates were all very high. 92% of subscribers said they are satisfied with Netflix, and 93% said they are likely to still have it 12 months from now.

The research additionally found that 77% of Netflix subscribers with cable or satellite have their pay TV bundled with their internet and/or phone service, implying that bundling may be the most effective weapon pay-TV has against cord cutting.
