HBO GO going gone from Classic Roku players

Classic Roku Player

Classic Roku Player

Beginning July 14th 2015, HBO GO will no longer be available on the Classic Roku devices.

The discontinued availability is due to the fact that HBO would be unable to guarantee a great video experience on these devices.

Customers in possession of a newer Roku player, made after May 2011, can continue to use it to watch HBO GO, as newer Roku players are not affected by this change.

Classic Roku players (those made before May 2011) have a more limited experience than current generation Roku players due to ongoing changes in software.
