BT Sport has selected leading real-time 3D graphics solutions experts, RT Software, to provide augmented reality graphics for the studio coverage of its new UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League shows.

RT Software has also been selected to provide the overlay graphics for BT’s newly launched 4K UHD channel, as well as all of the playout graphics across every BT channel, which has been embedded within the Snell ICE playout solution.

“The RT Software solution stood out because of the quality of the rendering – essentially what you see on the screen looks fantastic,” says Jamie Hindhaugh, COO, BT Sport. “RT Software has a desire to do graphics better than anyone else and a solid history of innovation around that. They are the perfect match for us, both technically and culturally.”
