Amino to acquire Entone

Amino Technologies has conditionally agreed to acquire Entone, a global leader of Cloud TV and Connected Home solutions.

Amino is based in Cambridge, UK, and is a leading provider of digital entertainment solutions for IPTV, OTT and in-home multimedia distribution. The transaction is anticipated to close in the third quarter of 2015, and is subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.

“Bringing together Amino and Entone would create a significant new presence in the pay-TV market with solutions and skillsets that are highly complementary,” comments Chief Executive Officer of Entone, Steve McKay. “We share a very similar vision as to how our industry is changing and the kinds of solutions will best help our customers be successful.”
